Role – Senior Paraplanner

Location – St Albans

Salary - £45,000 - £55,000

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our financial planning team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by preparing high-quality suitability reports, conducting technical research, and ensuring all advice is compliant and aligned with regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

· Prepare accurate and compliant suitability reports based on adviser recommendations

· Conduct in-depth financial product and fund research

· Analyse client information including income, assets, pensions, investments, and protection needs

· Support advisers in the development of financial planning strategies

· Ensure all advice aligns with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards

· Liaise with advisers and administrators to gather and clarify client information

· Assist in preparing cashflow modelling and financial planning scenarios where required

· Maintain accurate and well-organised client records

· Keep up to date with financial products, legislation, and market changes

Skills & Experience Required:

· Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4)

· Previous experience in a Paraplanning or technical financial services role

· Strong understanding of financial planning products including pensions, investments, and protection

· Experience writing suitability reports

· Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements

· Excellent analytical and research skills

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with adviser

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
